DO IT!!! Whatever it takes, make it work so you can go. This course has changed my life and made my job so much easier! I call the workbook my bible. I refer back to it multiple times a day! I think everyone that works in this field needs to come to at least one and see. It's great for office staff, nurses and the doctors.

It’s worth every penny. Great refresher for what you know and always something new to take home as well. Most beneficial would be the changes noted year to year and how to capture charges around the changes.

From Cranial to Spine: An Overview of Neurosurgical Topics for the Advanced Practice Provider

The AANS is one of the few groups that trains and supports advanced practice providers in neurosurgery. Approximately 300 nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) participated in hands-on training and case discussions so they can immediately return to practice with new skills.

Prior to this course, I had trouble finding practical clinics to learn essential procedures, key radiological principals and relevant information on neurosurgical subspecialties. After attending this course, my ability to self-study for the operating room, perform middle of the night emergent procedures and identify areas in which PAs and NPs can have a significant financial impact on a neurosurgical practice has grown tremendously. I recommend this course for any neurosurgical PA or NP (or those aspiring to be) who wants to take their practice to the next level.
